The Crystal City Pilgrimage is being organized October 31 - November 3, 2019 by former internees, family members and community volunteers across the country as a call to remember this dark period during WWII and to stop repeating the history of racist, anti-immigrant, and human rights violations.

The Pilgrimage will highlight the little-known wartime rendition of over 2,200 immigrant residents and citizens of Japanese ancestry from thirteen Latin American countries, including their kidnapping, internment and use as hostages in prisoner exchanges for US citizens in Asian war zones and their ongoing struggle for government accountability and redress.
